Stitches

I have a cut and I have to get stitches to make it better.

First the doctor or nurse will clean the area. 

Then they will use a needle to put some medicine around the cut to stop it from hurting. I might feel a pinch. This is okay.

Then they will use a special needle and thread to sew the cut until it is closed.

I will tell them if I am still hurting.
