ECG

I have to have an ECG to check my heart.

First, I will try to take my shirt off and lie down.

A doctor or nurse will put special stickers on my chest, wrists and ankles.

They will connect wires to the stickers. This is okay.

I will try to stay very still while the ECG machine prints out a piece of paper with squiggly lines on it.

These squiggly lines will tell the doctor about my heart.

When they are finished I can take the stickers off and put my shirt back on.
