What's a 'Social Story'?

This is best described by the inventor of social stories herself, Carol Gray:

"Social Stories are a social learning tool that supports the safe and meaningful exchange of information between parents, professionals, and people with autism of all ages. The people who develop Social Stories are referred to as Authors, and they work on behalf of a child, adolescent, or adult with autism, the Audience."

What's this all about?

EasiHealth is a resource I wish I had when I was working as a support worker. I would take clients to their medical appointments but often wished I had a ready-made resource to help them feel better prepared for what might occur during their consult.
